Making History!

Shira "Norma Jean" Benson" was the chosen artist to create street banners for Historic Adair Park located in the West End of Atlanta, Georgia. These banners were created for the beautification of the neighborhood and to promote street calming as we all know, Atlanta traffic is getting pretty out of hand. Art is an important aspect of our community. We are promoting street art in the hopes that our inner city drivers will slow down for pedestrians and admire the beautiful artwork the city of Atlanta has to offer.

NUSICFEST !!!

   On November 30, Norma Jean and Femme took a trip to Charlotte, NC to support their friends in their event, NusicFest . There were live performances by Carson   (a rockband) and BSE (a rapping group), who are both from Charlotte. There were also clothing lines present with vendor booths to promote their lines such as Baked Goods Apparel , HotDogWater , and Materialistic Morphine . The event took place in McKnight Hall on UNCC campus and the doors opened at 6:30 PM. There were a lot of new faces and Norma Jean was even able to promote herself as a stylist and artist. We definitely enjoyed the event!  Below: This the rockand Carson. Q Parker & Friends  is an annual live music event. Q Parker of legendary R&B Group 112, in conjunction with his musician friends come together to put on a show for the community, fans and music lovers alike.
