Atelier Around the World

Image
Last Summer, I was introduced to a creative group of children. I was the Youth Program Instructor for the African American Atelier, located in Greensboro, NC. This is a non-profit organization that encourages the diversity of art. It was an honor to instruct the students at Alamance Elementary School through the Atelier Around the World Youth Program. The term ended with an Art Exhibition coordinated by myself and staff. I was really proud of my students. Not only did I inspire these young minds to follow their dreams and explore the arts, but I also taught them self-awareness. The paintings above were done by 5th graders at Alamance Elementary School of Greensboro, NC. (2013) SO PROUD!!!
