Norma Jean is a huge supporter of the Arts especially when the subject is historical.  I had the opportunity to attend an historical event involving one of my professors and great mentors, Ms. Darlene McClinton . DJ McClinton, as some may call her, is an outstanding artist whose career is on the rise! She is now working on her doctorates at the University of Greensboro, NC. She has also traveled abroad to Jamaica and brought along students from NC A&T University to experience the Arts beyond the four walls of her classroom. She has given many students scholarships and mentor advice. August 16th, 2012  was one of most memorable and honorable times in DJ McClinton's life. AGGIE PRIDE !!! NC A&T State University, soon to be Norma Jean's alma mater, held their Annual Organization Fair of 2012. This event granted student organizations the opportunity to recruit, broadcast, and showcase their organization's motives and work. I attended this event to support Art Circle, an organization I've been involved with throughout the past four years. Art Circle is a NC A&T campus-based organization which involves but is not limited to student artist. Art Circle's goals are too expand, develope, educate, and promote the Arts not only at A&T, but all over the Greensboro community. During the Organization Fair, Art Circle offered FREE face painting, quick portrait sketches, and interest information. The event was a great success and just the beginning of the rise of Art Circle.
