HELLO, my name is...

Friday [March 18, 2011] was an epic day! Following the NC A&T Student Art Exhibit, was another art exhibition. The "Hello, my name is.." Art Exhibit opened at 7 pm and was located in the Student Union of North Carolina A&T University. The show was well put together by a friend of Norma Jean's, Arrington West. Arrington West is a Visual Arts Major at NC A&T. He recently visited California to play a lead role in one of his friend's films. Just last year, he studied abroad in Japan for a semester which I believe has triggered his imagination. Arrington has always had a creative mind. He's known to me as "the boy that never sleeps". He's always been a hard worker infactuated with art.
"Hello, my name is..."
The purpose of this exhibit was to showcase his series of paintings of his newest creation, "Sprae". Sprae is a character Arrington created to express his passion for street art; spray painting in particular. Each painting tells a different story about character Sprae. Check out the series below.

 This is a piece Arrington and his friend Aaron collaborated on. Aaaron in an artist from San Francisco.

Not only did Arrington showcase his work, but he accepted work from other artist as well. Arrington had a particular vision in mind that each artist was required to meet. Check out the other artist featured in the show.
