A dream come true!

I finally had the chance to see the MLK Memorial located in Washington, DC. The scene was very intimate. It was a beautifully sculpted piece! I didn't expect the glorious scene I strolled upon. Dr. King's National Memorial is visually striking and his sculpture is bursting from the stone. A beautiful site I highly recommend seeing a night and during the day. The type of clay artist Lei Yixin used appears as an ashy white during the day then transforms into a deep tan over night. Impressive ;]

   On November 30, Norma Jean and Femme took a trip to Charlotte, NC to support their friends in their event, NusicFest . There were live performances by Carson   (a rockband) and BSE (a rapping group), who are both from Charlotte. There were also clothing lines present with vendor booths to promote their lines such as Baked Goods Apparel , HotDogWater , and Materialistic Morphine . The event took place in McKnight Hall on UNCC campus and the doors opened at 6:30 PM. There were a lot of new faces and Norma Jean was even able to promote herself as a stylist and artist. We definitely enjoyed the event!  Below: This the rockand Carson.
