Two outstanding women I commend for their determination and dedication to success: Brandy Dillard is a friend of Norma Jeans' who moved to California and is now pursuing her super-model dreams. This painting entitled, Belle Reign, was done by artist, Norma Jean Benson. She enjoys painting and portraying successful and beautiful women. The other painting entitled, Pharaoh, is a portrait of Norma Jean's friend, Taylor Martin. Martin is an aspiring actress who is extremely talented in her field. In most of Norma Jean's paintings she portrays women as strong, independent, and powerful beings as gratitude to their accomplishments in life.

   On November 30, Norma Jean and Femme took a trip to Charlotte, NC to support their friends in their event, NusicFest . There were live performances by Carson   (a rockband) and BSE (a rapping group), who are both from Charlotte. There were also clothing lines present with vendor booths to promote their lines such as Baked Goods Apparel , HotDogWater , and Materialistic Morphine . The event took place in McKnight Hall on UNCC campus and the doors opened at 6:30 PM. There were a lot of new faces and Norma Jean was even able to promote herself as a stylist and artist. We definitely enjoyed the event!  Below: This the rockand Carson. Q Parker & Friends  is an annual live music event. Q Parker of legendary R&B Group 112, in conjunction with his musician friends come together to put on a show for the community, fans and music lovers alike.
