Annual Student Art Exhibit NC A&T

It's that time of the year again!!! North Carolina A&T will be having their opening reception for the Annual Student Art Exhibit Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 5:30pm. I took a glance at the exhibition today and their were some great pieces of work... check them out!!

Standing ovation for Brandin Bennett! She is from my hometown (Badin, NC) and is ALSO a very talented artist. Below is a marvelous piece inspired by African Beauty! ....And she created this with small, torn pieces of wood, pasted by hand.

   On November 30, Norma Jean and Femme took a trip to Charlotte, NC to support their friends in their event, NusicFest . There were live performances by Carson   (a rockband) and BSE (a rapping group), who are both from Charlotte. There were also clothing lines present with vendor booths to promote their lines such as Baked Goods Apparel , HotDogWater , and Materialistic Morphine . The event took place in McKnight Hall on UNCC campus and the doors opened at 6:30 PM. There were a lot of new faces and Norma Jean was even able to promote herself as a stylist and artist. We definitely enjoyed the event!  Below: This the rockand Carson.
