Mr. Big Dreams

This is a friend of mine, George Hines. He's a really great baseball player with BIG DREAMS ;] It was his birthday so I decided to draw him a personal portrait. This drawing was also apart of the NC A&T Student Art Exhibit of 2010. This was my first time experimenting with my newly found signature (sealed with a kiss) in the corner. It turned out great! I did color him a little too light tho, my pencil lead just wouldn't get any darker than G is... joke (O_o)

Norma Jean is infactuated with beauty! It has been a long time since the world has came across the grace of Marilyn Monroe. Of course she gets #1 on the charts of BAD-ASS-NESS, but this new face might be the next best thing.  She goes by the name, Amber Rose. Many fans know her as Kanye West's ex-girlfriend. They're relationship was one of the most beautiful loves known to hip-hop. Now you can spot Amber in almost every scene of Hollywood. She can be seen in music videos such as Fabulous' "You be killin' em",  Ludacris ' " What Them Girls Like ", and  Mary Mary 's " God in Me ". She is also signed to Ford Models and participated in New York's Fashion Week. NUSICFEST !!!

   On November 30, Norma Jean and Femme took a trip to Charlotte, NC to support their friends in their event, NusicFest . There were live performances by Carson   (a rockband) and BSE (a rapping group), who are both from Charlotte. There were also clothing lines present with vendor booths to promote their lines such as Baked Goods Apparel , HotDogWater , and Materialistic Morphine . The event took place in McKnight Hall on UNCC campus and the doors opened at 6:30 PM. There were a lot of new faces and Norma Jean was even able to promote herself as a stylist and artist. We definitely enjoyed the event!  Below: This the rockand Carson.
